Greg Smith was awarded the poster prize at the 16th Technological Plasma Workshop held in Coventry in October 2018. Greg is a third year Fusion CDT student based at University of York. His poster is entitled “Surface production of negative ions from nitrogen doped diamond using hydrogen and deuterium plasmas” and is a result of collaboration between the groups of James Dedrick and Timo Gans at York Plasma Institute, and Gille Cartry’s research group in Marseille, France.
